India Pale Ale
Bad Elf Winter's Ale
Submitted by ChrisSloan on Fri, 12/18/2009 - 12:16A little malt, a little hops, and lots of holiday trouble-making; this Elf is so bad, it’s way good.
Olde England meets the New World in this strong, warming golden ale. A generous amount of famous English malt is masterfully balanced with an astounding 45 ounces of fresh hops – including English Cascade – per barrel. Bad Elf is brewed by Peter Scholey, master brewer for the late and much-lamented Brakspear Brewery of Henley-on-Thames, England. Peter has bought up the entire crop from the single row of Cascades grown in the U.K.
60 Minute IPA
Submitted by root on Tue, 12/15/2009 - 18:33Our 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped - more than 60 hop additions over a 60 minute boil (getting a vibe yet of where the name came from?). 60 Minute is a session India Pale Ale brewed with a slew of great NorthWest hops. A powerful, but balanced East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. The session beer for hardcore beer enthusiasts!
90 Minute IPA
Submitted by root on Tue, 12/15/2009 - 18:25Esquire Magazine calls 90 Minute IPA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.
90 Minute IPA was our first continually-hopped beer, which is a method of hopping that allows for a pungent, but not crushing hop flavor. Since introducing the world to the continual-hopping method with our 90 Minute IPA, we've since released a continually-hopped 60 Minute IPA, 120 Minute IPA and even a 75 Minute IPA (a cask-conditioned blend of 60 & 90 Minute IPAs).
Stone IPA
Submitted by ChrisSloan on Mon, 12/14/2009 - 10:25Originally developed in the late 1700's, British breweries would send beer via sail to the troops and British expatriots in India. Problem was, there was no refrigeration and the ocean voyage took nearly five months. As a result, the beer would usually arrive in compromised condition. Well, the brewers of the time didn't know as much about beer as we do today, but they did know that both hops (where we get the bitterness in beer) and alcohol act as natural preservatives.
Ruination IPA
Submitted by caederus on Sun, 01/11/2009 - 19:58Very balanced Beer. Generous hop flavor with the bitterness being well balanced. Wonderful citrus flavor to start. THe name is true it does ruin your taste buds. THe hop flavor and bitterness continues for a while after.
I usually don't like very bitter beers, and was worried about a 100 IBU beer, but I like this one.

Green Flash IPA
Submitted by meadows on Fri, 10/31/2008 - 18:58West Coast I.P.A.
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.
